Keto Week 11 – Review

Definitely not my best week as on Monday I came down with the mother of all colds with a fever that pretty much laid me out until Friday. Food was often a mishmash of what was in the fridge, or Chinese takeaway, and although I was sticking roughly low carb, I wasn’t up to tracking them properly. This week also marks the ovulation phase of my cycle, so wasn’t expecting to lose weight (and didn’t – but not quite as big a rise as I was expecting)

Start Weight: 77.9 kg (172 lbs) (4 Aug 2019)

Weight after Week 11: 69.0 kg (152 lbs)
Total Loss: -8.9 kg (20 lbs)

Observations:

  1. I’ve switched from weekly weigh ins, to checking nearly-daily to get an idea of how my menstrual cycle affects my weight loss. Below is my weight loss since August when I started keto. You can see where I was weighing weekly, and then switched around 15 September. It’s interesting that so far there seems to be a definitely uptick on ovulation weeks!
